Matriculation (10th) pass or equivalent from recognized Board
Material Assistant
Graduate in any discipline from any recognized University
OR
Diploma in Material Management.
OR
Diploma in Engineering in any discipline from any recognized Institutions.
CMD (OG)
(i) Matriculation or its equivalent qualification from any recognized Educational Board.
(ii) Must possess the civilian driving license for heavy vehicles and have two years experience of driving such vehicles.
COOK
(a) Matriculation (10th) pass or equivalent from recognized Board
(b) Diploma in cooking from any recognized institute e.g. ITI/Vocational College etc.
Steno Grade II
Matriculation (10th) pass or equivalent from recognized Board.
MTS
12th pass from a recognized Educational Board or University
Vendor
(a) Matriculation (10th) pass or equivalent from recognized Board 
(b) Six Month’s experience in the trade from recognized Institute

Fireman
(a) Physical fitness- Must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties and must have passed the test specified below
(i) Height without shoes-165 cms provided that a concession 2.5 cms height shall be allowed for the member of the Scheduled Tribes.
(ii) Chest (un-expanded)- 81.5 cms
(iii) Chest (on- expansion – 85 cms
(iv) Weight – 50Kgs (Minimum)
Endurance Test-
(i) Run 1.6 Km in 6 min.
(ii) Carrying a man (Fireman lift) of 63.5 Kgs to a distance of 183 meters within 96 seconds
(iii) Clearing 2.7 meters wide ditch landing on both feet (Long jump). (iv) Climbing 3 Meters vertical rope using hands and feet.
Material Assistant
Merit list will be based on marks obtained in “Written Test”.

CMD (OG)
Merit list will be based on marks obtained in “Written Test”.
Female candidates are not eligible for the post of CMD.
Practical tests :
(i) Practical knowledge of vehicle and traffic rules/ symbols.
(ii) Marching and halting of the vehicle. 
(iii) Reversing and parking of the vehicle.
(iv) Driving and turning of the vehicle.
(v) Use of clutch/ gear changing application of 4x4.
COOK
Merit list will be based on marks obtained in “Written Test”.
Female candidates are not eligible for the post of Cook.
Steno Grade II
(i) Conversant with the duties of the respective trades with one year experience in the trade.
(ii) Merit list will be based on marks obtained in “Written Test”.
(iii) Test specified by Board of Officer including Physical Test and Skill Test.
Practical tests: 
(i) Candidates applying for MTS posts are required to perform the duties of Messenger, S/ Wala, Gardener and Book Binder.
(ii) Minimum knowledge to write and read with average IQ, Physical condition and aptitude for the job of MTS.
MTS
Merit list will be based on marks obtained in “Written Test”.
Skill Test Norms 
(i) Dictation : 10 mts @ 80 w.p.m. 
(ii) Transcription : 50 mts (Eng), 65 mts (Hindi) (On computer)
Vendor
Merit list will be based on marks obtained in “Written Test”.
Test specified by Board of Officer including Physical Test and Skill Test.

How to Apply

Eligible candidates may send their application in prescribed format to COD Delhi Cantt within 21 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in the Employment News.
Candidates will forward application properly sealed, in an envelope, to the address mentioned against the post applied for through Ordinary/ Registered/ Speed Post.
Candidates are requested to super scribe the word “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ………….. on the top of envelop while sending the application form.

Photocopy of the following documents/certificates to be attached along with application duly self-attested:- 
(i) Educational qualification certificate. Class 10th Mark sheet is mandatory.
(ii) Date of Birth certificate.
(iii) Caste certificate where applicable.
(iv) Discharge certificate for Ex-servicemen issued by Records Office/ Regimental Centre or NOC from the competent authority for serving Defense Personnel who are completing the prescribed period of Army Service within a year from the last date of receiving the application.
Two passport size photographs, duly self-attested, one on the right corner of the application and one on acknowledgement Card.
